z-ya Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 It maybe time for the baseball bat fender roll if you're afraid of the rubs. Take a baseball bat and GENTLY.... I mean GENTLY, roll the inner fender lips using an old baseball bat that is leveraged against the tires. This might give you the clearance you'd need. Just a suggestion! Oh and... LOOKING GOOD, btw!!! Fender lip rolling + Bondo = disaster. I just cut the lip off mine with my die grinder. Then I used some undercoating to seal it up. I was thinking the same exact thing! Hmmm now the car looks "fast"....haha. I think they look great and the black centers were perfect for the car....makes me want to keep my car silver. Yes they were pricy but...I dont think tires are a good place to skimp when peformance and your life are at stake. Thanks.
