This is for a semi street car, hence the lack of a halo bar or A pillar bars. 80LS1T Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 I can't believe no one has sad that this is going to kill the 50/50 weight ratio of the car with the tranny that far back? If I am not mistaken with a standard LS1/T56 swap and a few small things like the battery being relocated, isn't the weight ratio pretty darn close to a perfect 50/50 front to rear ratio? JustinOlson Posted April 21, 2007 Author Share Posted April 21, 2007 Well, more weight distribution towards the rear will improve braking performance. Look at all of the mid engine supercars. They dont have 50/50 weight distrubtion. They use wider tires in the rear to compensate for the weight bias to the rear.
