Jeremy82zx
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experience with jdm racing seats? I am considering them for my 280zx and was wondering if they will be atleast almost as comfortable as stock?

Guest TeamNissan
They are going to be about as comfortable as sitting on a broom stick. Spend more then 100$ and get real seats man.....
Jeremy82zx
alright what seats do you recommend for less than 300$. ill probably go to a salvage yard and pick up some good looking seats from one of the cars listed in the sticky if racing seats wont work. m1ghtymaxXx
Don't buy anything off ebay thats advertised as JDM. Its the sellers best way of selling junk to kids.

willembop
< http://www.bestcarparts.net/catalog/...232f485f1f8ec8>> Those look exactly like the APC seats I bought cheap off Ebay. I put them in my 71 240Z. However, they didn't fit very well -- I had to put spacers under each outside seat rail to tilt them inward so that the shoulder "wings" would clear the door. Also had to remove the inner back adjustment wheel to clear the transmission tunnel. Anyway, I thought they worked well enough that I would use them until I could afford something fancier. Several years later, they still work well enough that I have decided to leave them in. They are firm, but comfortable, even on fairly long drives.
