    I have a 4.3 in my s10 blazer and im almost done with my rear mount turbo on it. its got vortec heads, cam, edelbrock intake, 454 tbi. Im hoping for around 400hp and a 12 sec 1/4 mile. I talked to a guy who said he saw 9s on a 4.3 and it was the stock bottom end.

    Made out of hot glue and toothpicks lmao. I know it isnt proportionant or anything. But i do plan on doing this to my s130(with tubing not toothpicks). This shows my tube placement. Basically im just looking for ideas to improve on my design. more supports in the upper half of the main hoop? Rear strut tower supports?

    I got the rebuilt transmission from a guy on ebay that says he rebuilds transmissions for a living. But before i put in this rebuilt transmission i put in one that my dad junked a few years ago because of a seal leaking that i fixed. It did the exact same thing.

    Ok i know this isnt Z related but i need my DD back. I am having problems shifting in my 93 s10. 1-2 shift is fine but it slip out of 2nd unless im at WOT or at about 1/4 throttle, it wont shift out of 2nd either. I have replaced the transmission, the torque converter, the pcm, and the TPS. The speedometer works so i dont think it is the VSS. I'm stumped fellas i need help. Thanks, Jeremy

    I have a clarke hot shot. If yours is the spool gun like mine then it is extremely hard to use. any other mig i have used is far easier. to make it alot easier. Get gas for it, slow down your travel speed, and when you get the wire speed set tape it in place because it is very touchy and it is in a bad location.

    I would change the oil to. Other than that its a 2 stroke so theres not much that can go wrong.

    rotella 5w40 synthetic.I run it in my dirtbike, hard(think 12,000rpm rev limiter racing through desert like terrain).Alot of people run it in bikes without a problem. I usually change oil every 5 hours but last time i waited untill around 10 hours and it looked the same. Still looked like new.

    My dad (back in the day) used to put in about a gallon of diesel(after he drained all of the oil but left in the oil filter just so there was some oil). And idle it for 5 minutes, then drain.

    It has this "cackle pop pop" when i let off the gas. I have heard that a new muffler bearing will fix this? Although they are quite expensive at 50$ a piece, and mine takes 3 of them!. I have also heard that a new 710 cap will stop this? Another mechanic said that a new johnson rod would solve all of the embarrasing cackles. Does this website have good prices on these items

    Be careful what you say alot of people get offended by racist comments. I would have to agree that a 15 wouldnt sound the best in a small car. My brother has one 10 inch kicker in his 300zx and it is plenty. My two memphis 15s in my grand prix have pretty tight bass, they sound better than the 12s in my brothers jag(sealed box and polyfillfor the 15s). They are overkill though, when you can see you gauge needles bouncing you know your bass is to loud.

    If you want a total piece of ♥♥♥♥ buy a clarke hot shot. The wire feed control is very touchy and is mounted on the gun. It is far to easy to bump and mess up. you have to get the setting perfect or it wont run a bead. I have gotten decent with it. I can make much better welds with the schools millers

    geeze, well our shop has 3 stick and 6 mig, not bad for a highschool of around 60 people. I actually like arc better than mig when i have to make really strong welds. I think mig is harder than arc for that stuff

    wow, I was designing a new z in english class about a week ago and it looked almost exactly like that, it wasnt quite that long in the back side window area. Ive never seen this car before. weird. they need to stop trying to make a z!

    yup, i just wish our shop at school didnt have a no cars policy. it is a very large shop with 9 welders. instead im building an inclosed trailer

    your welds are fine. Our shop teacher has been welding for 40+ years, and his welds look similar to yours. like a row of tacks. his is more consistant but i wouldnt change a thing your welds look good! your tubing welds need some practice though

    lol dungeons and dragons was so funny, we beat a torosk once after i was swallowed 3 times and somehow busted out everytime.

    if you are willing to wait untill spring our paint booth will be up. And take it to kansas. It will get done right. if you want a true fire paint job it is an extra 500. I think that would look sick on a z. We are only doing this so cheap because we are a small shop.
