GeeZ
The 82-83 280ZXT distributor can be made to work with the normal L28 oil pump shaft. How? I bought the last new shaft for the 280ZXT Distrib. in Houston at Baker-Jackson Nissan. I was impossible to find a used one, so I just started calling around with the correct part #. s130turbo
Yeah but how? Does it fit or does it have to be modefied?
award280
I actually finished this today. You have to take the roll pin out of the collar to get it to come off the base of the distributor. Then take a drill, and drill the splines out of the bottom side of the collar. Then the end of the spindle needs a bit of "machining." If you just look at the NA spindle and the Tubo dizzy, it should make sense. Sorry I dont have any pics to show. I do know that there is are some pics on one of the Z31 ECU swap threads.
