L28et distributor

I'm currently about 3/4s of the way done with swapping my l28ett in my na 280zx. However I've run a bit over budget and a bit out of time and can not afford what junkyards and part stores are charging for 25 year old technology so I'm looking for anybody whos got an extra l28et distributor lying around and is willing to sell it leave me a pm

The 82-83 280ZXT distributor can be made to work with the normal L28 oil pump shaft.

 

How? I bought the last new shaft for the 280ZXT Distrib. in Houston at Baker-Jackson Nissan. I was impossible to find a used one, so I just started calling around with the correct part #.

I actually finished this today. You have to take the roll pin out of the collar to get it to come off the base of the distributor. Then take a drill, and drill the splines out of the bottom side of the collar. Then the end of the spindle needs a bit of "machining." If you just look at the NA spindle and the Tubo dizzy, it should make sense.
