pete280z
Ok, back on topic. Something I always suspected but recently experienced is that power delivery makes a huge difference. A "big turbo" car on track can be a real handful. Especially dropping into low RPM and having the turbo spool up on a low-speed corner exit. I look forward to trying it again. da-man: It's ok, I'm not offended. Just didn't want to get into another pointless pissing contest over the tubes. nakagusukumike
420 felt pretty nice in my buddys RB26 S31 Z here in Oki. My power goals are 450 to 500 from an SR20 setup. Good power to weight.
madkaw
Usually around 15,000 hp or more I start getting worried about taring s#*! up. It's actually the torque that starts ripping things in half --300,000lbs:grin:
Administrators BRAAP Posted November 1, 2007 Administrators Share Posted November 1, 2007 This has been posted here elsewhere... Bore 38” Stroke 98” (That’s not a typo, bore and stroke are in INCHES!!) Crank case has built in ladders. Available in 6-14 cylinders. The L-14 version specs. 108,920 HP at 102 RPM 5,608,312 lb/ft of torque also at 102 RPM. I’d like to see a dyno that manage that much energy! BSFC at max power is .278 lbs/hp/hr BSFC at max economy is .260 lbs/hp/hr Here is an L-10. Web page this information came from.
