BurnoutZ
Hey, Ive searched through the forum and i was wondering if there has ever been a production of a carbon fiber whale tail? How about a carbon fiber interior center console? Seems like it would run a good production line.
jknc90
there has been discussion of those, but sadly not production
BurnoutZ
It wouldnt be too hard ....just use a fiberglass whaletail as a mold... The center console would probably be very tricky. It has been done on modern cars and really improves the look.
Challenger
In the end there isnt enough market for these parts. Making molds and carbon fiber parts I assume isnt cheap and takes a fair amount of buyers to make it worth while.
jknc90
Yeah, I wish we had more CF parts available. There is a CF rear taillight panel available though, as well as hoods, bumpers, flares, and probably more, but its late and I'm tired lol. BurnoutZ
Getting a CF Whaletail would be amazing. Im supprised the interest of CF spoilers isnt higher... disappointing.
jknc90
there is a cf bre style spoiler
proxlamus©
i do love my cf bre hatch lip.. check out my putfile for pics
BurnoutZ
Bre spoiler is too small in opinion. A CF Whaletail would be a better looking compromise then having a completely CF trunk. A completely CF trunk probably wouldnt look as good. Against color a CF whaletail would really stand out.

capt_furious
WOW...awesome work, Bruce! You may want to look in the Windtunnel section to get some ideas on what would be ideal for the Z market. I know I'd like a 30 degree, 6" or 7" tall full-width hatch lip spoiler.
BurnoutZ
Could you make a carbon fiber whaletail? Or do you just cover fiberglass parts? How much would you charge?
