209runner
I've been looking for some rear quarter for my 240z and I think I found the one I want. The only problem is I don't know who makes it. Any info wound be nice.
Six_Shooter
Those are sweet, because they retain the stock lines of the car. IIRC those were custom made by the builder of that car.
savageskaterkid
It looks very similar to Dan Juday's car IIRC, its been awhile since I've seen a pic of his car. I know this isn't his, but he comes to mind when I see this pic.
JakeWard
Very nice. More than likely custom. I want to know too...
OlderThanMe
Pretty sure they were made in Japan along with that car. Powered by a plain old 760hp twin turbo VH45DE with a pair of TD06-20G Mitsubishi turbos...
Careless
you really should examine the picture a bit more. it says "photos & owner" in the copyrights. search that persons name and you may be able to get some more info, but don't expect it to be a mold or a kit, the car was completely custom with a lot of goodies and has a full rollcage, aluminum dash, and a VH45DETT. blueovalz
I agree. Looking at other photos of this car, it was apparent these quarters were either modified OTC parts, or completely fabricated.
SmogSUX
WHat's IIRC mean? And  that paint is sooo glossy.

nullbound
I was in touch with the owner a few years ago... through an interpreter. Those fenders are definitely fabricated.

phil280zxt
Always thought the rear quarters on this car have the same body lines as the Porsche 944.
OlderThanMe
HERE is a post I made on some info that I found on the web about that car... Not quite PORSCHE 944 flares... I have seen a bodykit somewhere that does put 944 style flares on a Z. (Thanks Dan, Reaction Reasearch is it.) That black Z that always comes up on ebay has them I believe. Dan Juday
Always thought the rear quarters on this car have the same body lines as the Porsche 944. Pardon me while I "chime in" here. (j.k. all in good fun I know) John Washington makes a set of flares for the S30 that mimic the 944: http://www.reactionresearch.com/940z.html I must admit though, they are not near as nice IMHO is the the ones on that blue Z. They do, however, have the advantage of being obtainable by simply writing a check. They may also be a good starting point for someone wanting to duplicate something like the ones on the blue Z.
