johnc
The ROD: 2,130 lbs, 320hp - 6.66 lbs. per hp. 1/4 mile - have no idea but with a 2.39 1st gear good to 50 mph it would have sucked.
deja
Does that 2750 include your weight? My '77 280Z weighs 2905 without me in it. Granted I have a LT1 V8 and a heavier 4L60E tranny but I am running FG bumpers. I don't know my HP, never had it on a dyno. But I know the weight and I just averaged 12.95 at DNI with 4 very consistent runs in the 12.90's. So according the that site: 1977 280Z LT1 3060#/325hp -12.95sec My LT1 is stock, has 115K miles with block huggers and a cold air intake. I doubt its producing 325 FWHP I'll start: (educated guesstimated numbers for my car) Feel free to add other cars that you know of to the list. 1976 280Z Turbo 2750#/325hp -8.5#/hp -12.5sec ! cygnusx1
This is just for kicks. Comparing our cars to "Supercars". Plus or minus 200# is within my guesstimate error allowance. I really have no idea how much mine weighs but I use lightweight air in the tires. Growing up, I always dreamed what it would be like to feel the power of a Supercar. I'm not sure I ever will, but at least I will be in the ballpark for sure.
