Mauisnow13
Another thing you must notice on the Mura is that it doesn't look like a small body with large flares. When I look at the Z with the work done, the middle looks too narrow. Too much of an angle between the tops of the fenders and the pillar. To boxy looking. Notice how the Mura's fenders flow into the car. The Styling of the Mura is appealing because it is wide, but it pulls this off by making all of it's lines smooth. If you chopped the top, it would look pretty cool. It would make the car look wider and lower. Another option is to just make the fenders flow into the top more. All of this is just my opinion. Mauisnow13
Possibly yes. It would bring the top down towards the fenders and resemble the mura even more. It would be easier to blend also. Just a thought
mull
I say: Awesome project - but move them tail lights!
TravRMK
Good job Mull. That made it look 1000 times better just moving them to the outside.

Lukaniuk
I always liked the look of the Mustang GT500s. Just a quick cut and paste in paint. I'm confident the scale is off, but I think it would look pretty sharp.

blueovalz
Lukaniuk, thanks for the thumbnail. When I was looking for long horizontal lighting, I found the mid-80s LeSabre tail lights to be a good start. Mounting was straight-forward, and they were lightweight. Mauisnow13
Here's a quick photoshop. I chopped the top a bit and then did a crappy fender blend. haha. This is all after the tailights have been moved as you can see. SO? Personally I like the way It would turn out.
Mauisnow13
While I was at it, I chopped and lowered my Porsche 944. hahaha

Trevor
where do i find Miura jato taillights??? From a 1970-1975..... ... Ford Maverick? ... AMC Marlin?
Pharaohabq
The Early RX-7 tailights look kinda liek the Mura lights... But I'd vot that you just move the stock lights out along with the body widening, then glass in the gaps between the stock panels.. Maybe swap over to 240Z lights.
