madden87
I was under the impression that you had to use block hugger headers with the JTR installation. Is it possible to use full length 1 5/8" headers? If so, what brand fits?
bschiltz
You'll probably have to fab your own. There is a set of Hooker headers that work with one of the more forward mounting positions (either Scarab or MSA, I forget which) but do not clear with the JTR mounting position. Nealio240z
Msa makes long tube headers but its costly...
fastzcars
Search under "S&S" headers, there's been some discussion about them.
rytherwr
S&S part number 5205...mine are 1 3/4 OD and they fit well...I took them off because I now have turbo down-pipes. They are thermal coated inside and out...cost $567. They have 3 1/8th mile runs on them...make me a reasonable offer plus shipping. They fit the JTR set-back position. madden87
Has anyone else tried the S&S 5205 headers? Are there any issues with making them fit?
pparaska
Has anyone else tried the S&S 5205 headers? Are there any issues with making them fit? O.k. I'll spoon feed you. But seriously, just look at the "Similar Threads" box at the bottom of the page for your thread. This one in particular answers your question: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=91613 Hell, that was even easier than searching! dr_hunt
Yeah, somebody has tried them, and they don't fit dart blocks.
