ColtGT4g63
I would say that 3" dual exhaust is plenty. Personally I went with a 2.5" into a Y section, and a single 3.5", and haven't felt like I need anything bigger. A friend of mine who has a 600rwhp cobra is running dual 3". heavy85
I cant imagine 4" all the way back and having any resemblance of ground clearance. I have dual 2.5" and it's very low despite being tucked up as high as possible. Cameron
aziza z
I'm running 3" from the the headers, into a y pipe then 3.5" all the way back. I'm pretty pleased with the tone and clearance on mine. Ground clearance may be an issue with 4".
Guest 280ZForce
im not a v8, but I'm running 4" downpipe, transitions to 3.5" oval, that Ys to dual 3.5" ovals and then after diff goes to dual 4" rounds. ground clearance is awesome and I'm on coilovers and pretty low. Define "awesome". To a lowrider enthusiast that would be about 1/4" and to an off-roader it would be about 14". I'm running my car at stock height (6" at the frame rails) with 2 1/2" duals and have about 5 1/2" clearance at the lowest point.

I'm looking at about 4-4.5" ground clearance at lowest point right behind the diff. Most of my exhaust is either even or above the frame rails. Also, I do have a custom front diff x-member. Roll pan still under construction, please ignore the hack job for now.
