Doc Hawk
Yeah, saw that at this year's WCZN show. I deeply respect the effort and the finish level, but it does absolutely nothing for me personally. 'sokay, more power to everybody!
proxlamus©
looks like an Altima V6 in that car.. Vq?
Pete84
I remember seeing a similar installation of a Altima / Maxima FWD VQ with a transaxle mounted in the back of a Z. It was done using largely OEM components, drive-by-wire etc, and looked really clean. Took a good bit of work to get it in the hatch compartment, but besides that it looked darn good. I don’t have the Photoshop skills, so I will have to attempt to describe a possible project: Keep the cabin from the firewall and A pillar to the B pillar intact and move it forward into a shortened front [former] engine bay. Insert an extension, perhaps from a 2+2, behind the B pillar, to provide additional room for a properly balanced mid engine installation of a VQ and LSD transaxle. The rear could be modified into a rear deck / hatch, ala Pantera, with the engine in an insulated compartment to keep noise and heat down. It would resemble a MID4 prototype but with the classic Z lines. Dat260
I believe the red one has the same gnose kit w/flairs as the black one. Can any body guess what size those wheel are? To me they look like 17's.... maybe 10" all around panasport C8 model I'am guessing. There must be more details about that car somewhere on the net. BurnoutZ
Whats the grating for?! He must like that "snub nosed" s30 z look... It's not bad but i think it should stick out slightly with subtle bumper details...
gokiburix
the grating is to make his life harder if he ever needs to do something in the engine bay HAHAHAHA just kidding...i dunno either...i dont like it. I agree with you on the bumper details....i just looks like something is definitely missing. I'm not a fan of the "snub nose" S30 look. ...but thats just me. -goki
