rigez
For those of you that have replaced the oem tach with aftermarket gauges. What was your solution for the turn signal indicator placement and how did you do it. Also are there there aftermarket guages that intgrate the turn signal indicator like the stock one? chrism
Put my turn signals in the center console. I put the break light on the right and turns on the left. I also used LED's instead of the original light bulbs. You can get them at the auto store.
gregkring
I used a stewart warner tach and kept the turn signals in the tach using LED lights. I also added a shift light right in the middle bottom of the tach as well. Works great and looks stock, but with an updated performance. SkunkTeeth
Did the same thing as chrism but with machined pieces
rigez
I think I would probably lean towards gregkrings option as it keeps the turn indicators in a easier viewing area.
Armand
I integrated LED's into my plastic steering column cover. They work great, but they need to be in the gauge pointing towards the driver. During the day if there is any sunlight on them they practically don't exist. I definitely need to order brighter LED's though, these are only like 450mcd. Bartman
LED's installed between the tach and speedo.
Armand
Bartman, you wouldn't have made an extra piece of that cluster would you? I remember reading you made it out of fiberglass.

I remember reading you made it out of fiberglass. No, I didn't really make anything. All I did was drill three holes into the dash and then pushed LED's into them. Maybe your thinking of David's setup (1 tuff z)?
rigez
Thanks for the replies. I like the last 2 options as they keep everything in plain sight.
