I know what you mean on the "bolt on look" Thanks to all comments

I told the painter GREEN airdam, spoiler.

BLACK flares, hood vents, tail light surround.

I did tell him black everything at first, but Thanks to you guys I'm going green spoiler, airdam.

:burnout:

Is it just me, or does anyone else thing that a black hood with black flares and spoiler would look good?

I've always liked the look of the hood on a Z being black to contrast the body color. It helps to break everything up, rather than just having that single mass of color. I definitely agree about painting the airdam though.

Phil, have you considered having the chrome accents around the windows and quarter windows powder coated black?

Not really, I like the chrome look of those. And it seems like they always peal after a few years?

Painter says car should be done this next week. Our Z carclub is having a car show at Grubbs Nissan July 25, and I told him I really really want to be there.

no joke this is paint jail. 3 months.....ARRRRRRRRR. I drove the car 2 times down my street with the new Z31 trans setup when I decided to have him paint it, he said 2 weeks lol. Not to mention my other trans blew 2 weeks after putting in the new gt35r turbo. I never even tuned the car! Just added 10% to the fuel map which was close, then trans goes POP. It is murder waiting on this car.
