cyrus
I am starting a Hybrid business of sorts... I love swaping in high powered engines as some of you know. I did a LS1 6spd 240Z. I did the first 2JZ-GTE swap on this board so now I need to try something new. So I went BIG, I mean small, as in Radio Control car engine swapping. We ship the end of the week so I am exicited. Oh and tomorrow will be a video of this thing doing cruising at 35 mph then hitting the WOT. It pulls back flips like nothing. Tenbol.com Any comments? Also my 1/8 scale Hybrid.(different platform)
MAG58
Nice! Which brushless setup are you running? How's the power transfer compared to the good ol' Nitro. I remember when i wanted to put a big ol' 4 stroke on one...
cyrus
Nitro to speeds are high 80's mph Brushless are up to to 130-150MPH for the world record. There are not even close anymore. How ironic.
cygnusx1
Lipo's rule! They are bricks of power. To give you non-lipo guys a reference. A lipo battery a bit larger than a cigarrette pack can crank over and start your real car. Nice work. http://www.thunderpowerrc.com/html/extreme-V2.html I use 3cell 2200mah "Thunder Powers - Pro Power 30C" in my planes.
