Heres pics on the day I bought from a fellow HybridZer My plans are V8 swap with T-56 trans, R200 3.54 with LSD and 300ZXT CV's. New toyota 4x4 front brakes and disc brake swap in the rear. Specs are- Free 1970 010 4-bolt main block bored .060 over Vortec heads with comp roller tips rockers 1.5 Comp cams 270H MSD HEI dist with rev limiter Edelbrock Performer RPM Air gap intake Still need carb, air cleaner, flywheel and few other little things. CJBrian Posted November 21, 2009 Author Share Posted November 21, 2009 Once I removed the rusty pass. side front fender and saw surface rust I decided to pull the rest to the body work off to see what I could find. I picked up a good used fender from Johnc at Beta and had it mediablasted and epoxy primered. It looks good. Damn might as well do the WHOLE CAR! Here I go what am I getting myself into! Sectioned Struts with Tokico cartridges and coilover kit from Beta. Thanks Johnc Cleaned and painted hubs with new studs, races, bearings and seals. Also new rotors and Toyota calipers. I cant find a body shop with the ballz to do such work here in my city, or the shops i have visited fear early datsuns because of the work involved. My Z is only a shell at this moment too.
