First thread in the beginning. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=153400&highlight=gopro+camera The batteries don't want to work in the cold so i needed to hard wire it in the car. Total cost so far. free---- gopro camera $5-------fix old mount with bolts and suction cups from harbor freight. $4-------cig lighter usb adapter $26------usb data cable from usb adapter to camera $0-------drill camera case to accept the usb data cable total-- $35 Now I'm going to have to buy a bigger sd card Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
garvice Posted February 6, 2010 Share Posted February 6, 2010 If you are worried about $35 for getting a "Free" camera up and running, then you have to seriously consider whether cars are a financially viable hobby. I understand it is frustrating having to buy extra gear to make products work, but you stated your camera was "FREE". $35 isn't bad to get a $200 camera running.
