getoffmyinternet
Noice! Pontighini FTW! That guy has spent a hell of a lot of time with an english wheel. Wish it said how long that took, and how much the car weighs now.
blue72
Very nice metalwork. My only question at this point: Where is he going to get glass from? One off glass is very, very, very expensive.

zero
I'm not usually a fan of the glass replicars, but that thing is bad ass. and it looks like itll have some grunt as well...
Negligence
I would like to see the car completely finished and painted, side by side with a real one
Z-Noob
That is some insane fab skils for sure. Its gonna be a pain in the rear to find glass, headlights and taillights though. They dont look like they are the same dimension as the real ones. Even if they were how much does a mircialago sp? headlight/taillight cost...5k-10k? getoffmyinternet
Glass replicar? It's all sheet metal! Even the dash is the hard stuff. I suspect the car is at least foot shorter than the real one though. He squished the hood and headlights a little, which isn't really a bad thing. blue72
Well he found a windshield. Amazing work indeed. Guess I somehow missed the pic with the windshield last night. The doors might even have been engineered to line up with stock Fiero door glass, or that from another model. It makes sense that he'd have figured these things out before spending that much time and money in metal fabrication. I still want to see what he's got in mind for headlights and trim though. Found a site that in 2008 interviewed Woody, the guy making this thing: http://www.motorfoot.com/blog/post/2008/07/Woodighini---The-story-of-a-Born-again-Fiero.aspx
JMortensen
I suppose if it makes him happy that's great. A 3000 - 3500 lb car with a mid rear turbo V8 and Chevy Citation and Chevette suspension is not a good expenditure of time and effort and money by my standards though. Well I'd suspect he's definitely doing it for the looks...
Globerunner513
Yeah the only thing I could think of was the suspension. Amazing metal work. But seems kind of like silver plating a turd... But even if it is just for the looks, I don't think its a wasted endeavor.
