A little help needed. Ebay item number 140402540526 is for the sale of a 1976 280Z. It is located near Springfield OH and I would like for someone who lives near there to inspect the car? The seller states that the car has less than 34 K miles on it and that he purchased the car "new". Also, there may be others who are interested in a good, low mileage car without rust, especially east of the Mississippi.

Not so sure if posting this on here was such a good idea, lol. It went from $200.00 this morning to over $1,750 in under an hour and a half.

As of this writing (5:46 pm EST), that car is up to $2225.

 

I'm about 30 miles south-west of Springfield, and could take a look at it if necessary.

"I work 2- 11 shift in Columbus so either this sat & sun anytime, or say from 9- 12 the rest of this week. Have him call me at 937 408 3957 to let me know or contact me at this e mail, stephen"

 

Also, to those who have posted comments about the escalating bid prices of the car; if it is anywhere near the way it has been described, it could fetch a hefty price.

I agree 100% especially for the area it's in they just don't show up in that good of ORIGINAL shape anymore, sure restorations are on par but a restoration isn't original. I wouldn't be surprised if this goes in the $12-15,000 range especially with it being advertised on a few Z forums through people keeping an eye out for these rare gems.

Personally I'm not in the market for another Z car, and am too obtuse to have proper respect for the vaunted value of a stock original, but I am curious, and would be happy to give a report of my finding.
