Alriightttt finally getting somewhere... cut out the stock quarters, pretty much took it all out, cut up atleast 6 inches, gonna fab up an inner fender well the fill the rest at some point in the future...

Got the rims for the front, 15x10 with 2.75" BS, stretched a 225/50 on to her. Need to order a 1" Spacer for the rear, a 12" wide rim still isn't enough to fill that fender. Should have gone with 14s :D

Gonna do a rear disc conversion and hopefully find some maxima brackets. I dont like spending 350 for brackets and a few bolts. Plus I can piece together rotors pads calipers for a hell of a lot cheaper then a kit.

Some pics of the new wheels:

You can kind of see some of what I cut out of the quarters through the trunk...

It's been a while... I ended up ordering the 240sx kit from Ross at MM. Got all of that installed, couldn't get the brakes to bleed out and was able to pinpoint it to the proportioning valve. Ordered an adjustable one and re-ran lines front and rear. The front I have right off the mastercylinder, and the rears I have ran through the valve. Have to order a new fan bracket b/c the one I currently have is too close to the rad. for my comfort. Hopefully I will be able to get that here this week and get the SOB moving.

Picking up a R200 rear hopefully soon from a member on this site, then it "SHOULD" just be finishing up interior wiring in the car to get it moving. Also plan on getting new seats, these are too close to the steering wheel and really pushes you out in front of the main hoop on the cage, kind of defeats the purpose. Gonna go with some Kirkey aluminum seats. I'll update pics later this week of the new brake set up and hopefully some picks of it out of the garage!

are you planning on weighing it after?

I'm curious to see the end weight of this thing.

Haven't planned on it, maybe once I start getting it ready for the track I'll worry about that and getting exact numbers from the engine on a dyno. But untill then I just want to get it moving and tear shi...stuff... up on the roads. Maybe I'll swing by the scrap yard by my work and accidently park on the scale to see what it weighs :)
