i just saw it yesterday at the foster fred meyers. i think its a 260z because i actually got a better look at it. It had one of those moonroofs. I dont know if its the same one that i saw before tho because the one i saw before was kept in pretty nice condition and this one looked like it could use a wash but i dont know it could be that yellow is just a popular color around here. icon_biggrin.gif

Hey Guys,

I live in Gresham, Oregon. I have a 1970 240z that is stripped and ready to restore. Have both a twin turbo GTR engine and a Lexus V8 sitting in the garage so I'm having a little trouble deciding on which one to install icon_rolleyes.gif

Randy79 280ZX8 : We have deleted VERY few posts in the 1.5 years HybridZ has existed. If I see something out of place (like a brake question in a V8 forum), it SOMETIMES gets moved, but it's not something we look for as standard maintenance, etc.

But I agree, this one should have gone in "non-tech". No biggie, this forum (Chevy V8) does seem to become a catch-all forum for some reason, maybe because it's at the top or it's so popular and people just post to it because it's where they are most often.

I'll move this one tomorrow.

Everyone:

Hopefully, we don't have many members that do not post or feel they must often restrain themselves because they feel the moderators will get "pissed" at them.

Sure, we delete posts VERY RARELY (5 or less in 1.5 years), but we do so more swiftly these days to keep the place nice and comfy. That's the way the originator (Dan Porter) and many of the rest of us like it. If we drive people away because they can't hold their tongue and be civil, so be it. But I don't think that's the case.

Back to our regularly scheduled tech discussions!

I'm new to the site and from the Portland area. The best way to get together is to come the the next North West Z-club meeting. They don't have an "attitude" about V8 power, they just want to have a good time. You can view their schedule at www.norhtwestz.org. I met a couple of the members at the Meeting of the Mindz in Port Townsend, WA last week end. Good Guys.

Hi Paul, glad you found the HybridZ site. I saw Paul's ride at Port Townsend and it is really nice. SBC set up for high speed rally's. I took some pictures at the meet and will post them when I get back from vacation... BTW, NWZ and ZCCW are having a combined drive to Mt. St. Helens. Checkout the web site at:ZCCW for details.
