19762802+2 Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 I bought some Rustolem Semi Gloss black and some Rustolem Red Rust protection primer, I can't remember how much I bought exactly I think it was 5 cans of primer and I had 1 or 2 left over and maybe 10-ish cans of semigloss and it covered everything pretty good, sanded it slightly and now it needs another coat but so far it was $60 for what I have done so far and it looks decent, I just have to do some small body work get the fender flares do another coat and it should be good to go until I go with a real paint job down the road. darom Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 Check out your local John Deere store for some spray cans. You can get their paint in smaller/gallon cans as well. Oddjob Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Just a note on spray paint in general: flat is the least durable, satin is next, then semi, then gloss.
