  1. I think I would go with a stock square port exhaust manifold that you match the ports to gasket with and go from there after ceramic coating it. If you want to go for max power equal length headers are ok, but I've seen tests on turbo cars and using cast exhaust manifold weren't much of a liability and provided better low end.
  2. Take it to a muffler shop and have them install two v-band clamps...
  3. What year? Manual or Auto Air?
  4. I would suspect that you could copy the values from almost anyone's VE and AFR Tables that have a close to same stock engine with your injector size and be much closer to smooth than what you have now...

  6. I think tubing is tubing and what's done on the ends in the enum make a difference... If it works then that's it. I'd rather have performance over looks and I don't like the angles I saw for the first cylinders.
  7. I don't think so, and it looks like it would have 1st cylinder air distribution problems compared to ProtunerZ's...
  8. My buddy had his cone filter behind the headlight bucket with piping bent appropriately and through the inner fender and the valve cover hose tapped in after the air filter...
  9. Get factory workshop manual. Clean all grounds in engine compartment and the connectors for the ECU and fuel injectors. TPS, AFM, all sensors.
  10. It's like the opposite of polishing the beam on connecting rods to eliminate stress fractures/weaknesses. You are inducing a weakening of the surface and assembly.
  11. If you get a bigger turbo you won't heat the air as much as the small one. I ran an S3 trim turbo to 14 psi with no problems stock - but I limited my rpms to about 4500 at that boost.
  12. I'm not negative in any way - shoot, I'm all for saving a buck - more do than most because I had to retire early for health/disability reasons. I ask questions and make statements but don't judge - some of us are here to learn and share knowledge. I honestly didn't know the OP got the PCM very cheaply as it wasn't in his original post.
  13. I have the ATI trans adapter kit and lockup torque converter (9") along with MS3Pro and MicroSquirt for my '83 ZXT. Currently waiting to paint engine compartment prior to installing engine, transmission and upgrades including ported and ceramic coated exhaust manifold, Protunerz intake and even larger upgraded turbo. Have had health issues.
  14. $500 when not on sale...plus - MS programmability.
