  1. two openings on 1st shift, starts at $20.28 an hour.
  2. http://www.sikorskycareers.com/joblist.asp Apply if your able to do any of those jobs.. I get nothing from this except if I have another car buddy to hang with if they get hired in my area. Bennies included are listed..... free college, matched 401K, and full medical. If I was younger and I got hired, my life would be different... but the past is the past, and I got hired late... But I love the place, and I reep from the bennies...except college...I'm too lazy to finish my degree because I got two Z's and an old house I'm trying to rebuild. Maybe someday...
  3. And for my starter house...I picked the wrong one...I spend more time working on the house than I do the cars...but when I sell it...I hope to have doubled my investment...... http://hondaswap.com/members-lounge/2-years-later-old-house-who-has-56k-internet-anymore-78794/
  4. I already got my house...but if I could sell it asap, then I would buy this... http://www.realtor.com/FindHome/HomeListing.asp?frm=byxmls&xlid=1074296999&lnksrc=00045&poe=realtor
  5. I got a set of 14" watanabes that are for a honda offset....and I got 2.5" spacers/lug adapters...hrmmmm....
  6. the auction ended, the buyer is not one of the buyers that resales them over here...so kiss those wheels goodbye. Anyways... they were 16x8's +13 offset, and 16x9's +13 offset....by far the lowest offset I've seen for RS-8's. They sold for about $1000, and they were prolly worth more. Over here expect to see them around $1700ish in that condition. I'll keep my eyes open. I'm going over there near the end of March, so if I see something, I'll beg the wife to get them, and when I get over there, I'll just ship them from the inlaws house to you. For a fee of course....
  7. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n50331352 a 13 offset... 16x8 and 16x9 I'd pimp them.
  8. I bought the car from a buddy at work, his dad had it in a garage for 13 years, and the finishing touches were all that was left to do...install a mirror on the driver door, put the wipers back one...and that was it. It sat for a long time, so the gas was bad, and the oil in the engine just was not perfect and on everything. I literally snagged it for $1450, it had a stuck drivers front caliper, and a stuck valve. But my house was about 2 miles away, so my buddy followed me and the 13 year old gas still had a little juice in it. Got it home, washed it, finished putting everything together, fixed the brakes and the stuck valve, and the DVG's were almost still perfectly tuned. Needless to say...I babied it until a lady with a huge SUV backed into it at a parking lot, and destroyed the hood...her insurance shot out a check to me for $1500...so now the car was a free car...but needed a hood. Found a hood, had it painted, and put it on the car...$300...and it was mint again... Then I decided to play around with it...and years of drifting, autocross, and spirited drives...kind of made it into a rat rod. Anything will go on it, in it, and it liked to eat tires and gas. as it sits today: 1974 Datsun 260Z Some aftermarket Whale tail. Wheels are what ever flavor I decide... I have too many. F54 block/P90 head with about 2000 miles since rebuild. 240SX Throttle body, JSK TB adapter, JSK Fuel rail. Engine has a 280Z wire harness and ECU. 280ZX nonturbo injectors. Act heavy duty pressure plate, ACT 6 puck springless disk. Filled the motor mounts with windshield RTV. ported and polished the head, matched the intake runners. Currently has a MSA header, but have a Hooker header to slap on this winter. Currently has a 2.5" crushed bent header back to a Turbo II muffler, But have some twice pipes to throw on this spring. 4:11 Nismo 2 way LSD in an R-180 diff. Still stuck with u-joints, but no problems yet. 5 speed swap from a 280Z. Stainless steel clutch pressure line. front and rear hubs are 280Z. Tokico Illumina's and Tokico 1 inch drop springs on all corners. Some custom made rear strut tower bar, has a fire extinguisher mounted to it. Some flares that are molded to the car. Corbuea Race seats and sliders with Scrothe harness's Sony CD player, 100 watt amp, 2 tweeters in the dash vents, 2 mid's in custom boxes with the crossovers mounted to them, and a removable kicker box with some cheap 10" woofers. Brakes...Stock...but all from a 280Z. New Radiator. New hoses. Wired in a solid state voltage regulator. Plumped in a high pressure fuel pump and a cheap fuel pressure regulator...fuel injection swap. Onyx Shift Knob. (stone=very heavy) Brass Shifter bushings. Full Prothane Bushings on the car. Solid Diff Bushing. Crane XR700 ignition system. Leather wrapped steering wheel. Problems with the car. Frame rails are rusting. Body needs a new paint job. Floor pans were replaced, but not done great. Drivers door was torn off by a mad tree, also that same mad tree dropped acorns on the car for two seasons. Hood now has little dings in it...the rest of the car looks ok...except the fenders.. But I have new fiberglass fenders in the basement. When driving, the car wants to pull to the right slightly. Jack damage on the rocker panels, but have new fiberglass rocker panels in the basement. Reverse light switch wire broke. The good. The car handles like it's on rails in the corners...but I try to drift it all the time and the car just doesn't want to brake loose like a drift car should, but once it does brake loose...it makes a hell of a smoke show. This will be the last year I try to drift it...new parts ready to go on, a new flare setup that I'm trying to get, got some huge wheels to fill the flares I want....granted...they are small, but it will look sexy when done. I'll prolly finish it, and just use it as a cruising car for shows and spirited driving runs... Parts waiting to go on. Two new FG fenders. Two new FG rocker panels. Hooker Header. Twice Pipes. 15x10 and 15x12 American Racing Custom Wheels 245/35ZR15 Dunlop SP sports (x4) 345/35ZR15 Pirelli System Asimmetrico's (x2) ((still have to buy)) Works Over Fenders (from Japan) ((still waiting to buy)) Du Pont Ful-Thane 2K Urethane 1979 Chrysler R8 Regent Red Effect with some metallic Iridescent. Paint on hand with all the stuff to spray. (Blood red. Very dark and Very evil.) A fresh turbo manifold that is crying for me to find a t3/t4 turbo for, and rape the other Z for parts to build this one up to be a monster from hell. Old road racer with a haltech. Problems..other. I have a 1987 CRX that I need to build up, finish, and sell or race. An autocross monster. I have an 1881 house that I'm restoring and tyring to make it cozy. I have another Z that needs more attention...Boost sucks down the dollars. I have to work 7 days a week to afford all this. I have a problem sitting down...I always end up in front of the computer with a few beers...and a sore back that I've had major problems with for the last two years, but it's getting better. The beer helps. I'd give all my cars and parts away if someone would buy them and I can buy a small plane and a decent daily driver. (hint hint) The pics.... Everything is literally here in my redpepperracing gallery. http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/v/airjockie and I have one vid of the beast trying to drift... http://videos.streetfire.net/search/airjockie/0/8f1a345c-d7a7-4b3d-87bc-0b57579f8f93.htm I used to have more vids..but my old computer crashed and I haven't had my buddy retrieve any of the data yet. But the best pic is this...sideways on a banked race track... I"ll add some more pics later...hehe And if the mods here will allow it, I'm ok if others want to post comments....
  9. actually, I am.. I about to buy my wife a canon XTi, with like 4 lens's and a starter kit. If that what your talking about.
  10. one of these years....paint might actually do that....
  11. well, just as working on an aircraft, if your good at fabbing up stuff, re-enforcing the stress areas with sheets of aluminum, either by bonding them with hysol or riveting them into place, I'm sure a decent FRP door that is molded correctly will maintain all the properties of a normal door if fabbed right. I have seen CF doors for s13's and Skylines in Japan...and they were sweet, but damn near un-affordable for the normal person. I made blade tips for the helicopters that Sikorsky presently builds for a few months, small parts bonding on composite parts has came a long way. I can take two pieces of CF, and join them together to be just as strong as one piece, and sometimes stronger, but not as flexible. But I was in that area of the factory for a short time, but got back out to the hangar where I normally belong...when the helicopters don't flow into the hanger, we sometimes have to go support other areas to get the flow going again. I wish I had an autoclave in my garage....I'd be making some sick parts for everybody.
  12. Damn, these are sexy.... http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n47917670

I'm bidding on the other RS8's there for my subaru.... looks like just a pair...but it's a start...

  15. Buaaaahahahaaa!!! I didn't even see that....
  16. there are no bids, the guy has the reserve set at 69,939 yen, yen rate right now is about 117ish, but I always figuar it out to be roughly 100 yen to the dollar, so guestamate those at $700ish, they will be shipped seperately, with no tires, and that may run anywhere from $140-$180..depending on weight. If they were 15", then they could be shipped in pairs, and be $160ish. Then if I got my wife to buy them, then add a small fee for her, because she would have to get them to her house in Kyoto, have the tires removed, pay the recyling fee for each tire, then her mother would have to pack them, and then call the post office to pick them up and get them on their way, if sent the cheapest way, by boat, they would take about 1-2 months to arrive. EMS would prolly charge about $300+, but you would get them in a week. There are a few companies set up to do just that service, but they like to rape you for more money if they have to bid on the item....but their shipping is cheaper since they ship with cargo containers. 16X8 is not a hard size to find, 4 lug is also not hard to find...but the zero offset is.
  17. http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h42830626 lowest offset I see in 16x8's for the RS-8s is a +26, and thats just for a pair....for the Japanese Yahoo Auctions. I'll keep an eye out for that size when I look at the JYA's and if I see something, then I'll PM you. there are some other places that sells them, here in america, but they will rape you.
  18. well, I speak and read Japanese, I just can't write it...but thats what my wife is for. She used to sell starbucks cups that she bought here in the states, and listed them up over there...they paid the shipping, and she made a killing, but she got bored, and gave up. But we still go over there every year, and buy things, bring them back and try to sell them here...and what doesn't sell...I keep. hehe. I wish I could talk her into selling things again. I'm sure if she had parts to list, and she was tempted with a percentage, she might do it again. But she's going to college now, so she doesn't even have time for me...
  19. Hrmm... Arizona Z car made it over there too.... http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n45512940 and another ModernMotorSports.. http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e63008739
  20. interesting auction I found... http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e57171440
  21. I honestly don't know, it was on the car when I bought it, along with the flares, 14x7s, and the wing. Somebody just had the car in their garage after they restored it, it sat for 13 years, and they wanted it gone...$1400 and it drove home on the 13+ year old gas. Had a stuck valve, and a locked up brake caliper...and the paint is so thick that now it's just flaking off the roof. The car will prolly get sent to a shop in the spring for some needed paint and body, plus the frame rails are not healthy anymore. I might add a cage if I can afford it. I have two new fiberglass fenders, figerglass rocker panels, I need to find a rust free drivers door, find some flares, get a fiberglass or carbon fiber hood, and get the car pretty again. The engine and drivetrain is done, the interior only needs a carpet...and then the car will be done. Pics of the car the first day I got it, since then, it's gone thru 2 motor swaps, two trannies, a diff, all the suspension is new, and too many other things like race seats, fuel injection, and gobs of wheels and tires. http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/v/airjockie/albuo93/
  22. I'm in the same boat. I just sold my 2 sets of 17's to my buddy, but they were honda offset and lug pattern...since I have like a 3" spacer/adapter that switchs from 4x114.3 to 4x100's. I also have ZG flares to fill, on stock suspension. I just got the 15" set from hell, and now I'd like to get 17's because more tire size choices available for cheap and burnable rubber. The best wheels I can think of would be watanabes...special order. Right now there are no 4 lug 17" rims on the JDMYahoo auctions that are even close to a zero offset...shollowest I found was a +16 and the rest or +25. Maybe Rota might make a specail batch if enough of us group buy them.
  23. http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/v/airjockie/Wheels/?g2_page=12 big differance than the 14x6's I had before... still searching for the rear tires...
