  1. I'm finally glad to see some renewed interest in installing A/C in our RB swaps, no matter what chassis they're in. Living in Texas almost requires A/C and I've been basically backed against a brick wall on this matter. Yes, I know I have to get custom lines for my S130, but what else would have to be modified? Could i remove the expansion vale as said above?
  2. I don't know what the mounts look like on the 280z as opposed to the zx, but it was just removing the insulator off the bottom side where the trans would bolt to the car and swap it for your cars stock piece.
  3. Kinda in a bind, this must be from an RB20DET, not its big brothers. Looks like the Nismo adjustable type a, minus the adjusting screw.
  4. Yeah, my s130 has one,but I was under the assumption that they were set at the factory and not adjustable. That was one of my thoughts, but had pushed it aside when I found out that changing the damper setting could be detrimental to my fuel system.
  5. The only problem with that is the fpr for the 25 is definitely different from the 20. No bracket on the 20 fpr, well not like the 25's. Check out the Nismo type a adjustable compared to the type b and you'll see what I mean. But I do see your point in posting in the wanted section.
  6. No, I'm not using the original harness to run the pump. It had to be modified, but I have a full 12v at the pump. But, otherwise I agree and think its the fpr and I'll have to make a trip to Courtesy Nissan and pick up another fpr or source a different one. Any recommendations on a different fpr?
  7. Just 3 bar, you know stock pressure.
  8. Ok, RB gurus, I have an 83 S130 with a brand new walbro 255, RB20, and nismo adj. fpr. The problem is when I key up, the fuel pump comes on, but as soon as I lower the pressure as read by the gauge, the needle goes wild from about 20 psi to 50 psi. My filter is new also, but my fpr might be fubar. The "top hat" section of said fpr spins, so I'm figuring that it might be the prob. Please advise.
  9. I can say for sure that if you go to the one in Richardson, make sure you really inspect what ever motor you're looking at purchasing. They have lots there, and its easy to get distracted by how they have everything set up in their building.
  10. Phil, you and I are in the same boat with the weather here in Dallas county. We should go on a RB Z cruise when we both get them back together. And I second your motion that Pat makes a great product. Stupid rain.
  11. Ok, so I was finally able to come home for a while and have rested. To get my 240sx throttle cable working took a little fubaring, but required parts from a throttle cable kit from autozone and keeping the 240sx bracket that mounts it to the firewall. I kept the stock plenum so I had to trim all of this to work and fit properly. Also, I used some autozone motor mounts, part number 2429. They're basically hockey pucks, and I haven't had any trouble with my engine placement with them. When I get a chance when the rain lets up I'll head out and snap some pics.
  12. I kinda prefer being the same age as my S130, but i would love to have it all dressed up with nowhere in mind to go. CF hood, custom interior, AZC brakes, and suspension to start. The list goes on.
  13. Probably better off finding a manual trans s130. They seem to have 3.90 gears and you'd come out tons cheaper if you get the carrier, halfshafts, and companion flanges from a junkyard car.
