Stupid rust. Frame rail welding advice?

theres a great metal primer and rust remover that is weldable, its actually said to make the surface better for welding. you can get it at por15.com its called metal ready i believe. i use it and it does everthing it says. -

Rust on 240z front frame rails!

Hey everyone my car is a 71 240z and it is rusting bad on the rails from the suspention up. the very front is ok but right around the sway bar it is horrible. one side of the sway bar is coming off. i have a 80 280zx that i got for free that i can use for parts so does anyone have any ideas? is there any way to use the front end on that? or just to use the rails from it? because it is in good shape. thanks in advance. paul
