Tight and dry...
Rock solid or soft comfort suspension?
-
Eh..Not quite. There are some jumpers you can't make on a MS-I that you can on the MS-II. If you don't check and makes sure you have it right, you'll blow the proc.
-
You know......Nah nevermind. I'm with everyone else. My luck wouldn't hold out.
-
Personally I'd hit up the R200 3.54 diff and run a standard 5 speed until you can afford to upgrade to the T56.
-
Ok so you have to have the $200 kit with the controller, not just the sensor. Odd, I would have thought you just needed the sensor and let MS control it.
-
Nice work. So the Wide band O2 just wires directly into the MS-II right? No need for a controller or anything right? That one always made me curious because they sell the wide bands in kits with the controllers, but I always thought MS could read the sensor itself, no need for the extra stuff unless you're tuning open loop.
-
Yeah, my bet would be on a leaking master cylinder into booster and booster leaking into vacuum assist during braking.
-
Nice work. Looks damned good.

Run a bottle of SeaFoam through your engine and make sure their window is open and it flows that way. Then explain to them how your Z is an addiction and you have to keep it running clean, so just like their THC addiction it's a little annoying for the neighbors. Hope they get the hint, otherwise I like the idea about going to the Management then the cops if that doesn't work.

Hehe....I just asked this question a couple weeks ago...Down to the MSD as well...lol
The skinny is yes you can run MS with direct coil using the stock VR distributer setup. This is the way I plan to go, hopefully soon.

82 and 83 all had the "Turbo" hood scoop. The name came from the 80 models where the N/A had the smaller matched vents and the turbo had the one larger. It's called a Turbo hood, but it's not necessarily a turbo.

Check out the valve cover and the engine compartment in general. It's rather worn and corroded looking for a practically brand new car.
-
Ok, I'd have to agree, you did steal that....Damn that was cheap.
-
Sorry I don't have any constructive input, someone already stated my idea (Heat gun or torch). But I just wanted to say how surprised I am that there's sooooo much surface rust under that tar.

BWAHAHAHAHA
That's funny...I got two out of three, Part Indian and I'm a southern boy.

Tha cutting out in MT I've read about several times and that has something to do with the USB adapter. I didn't read into detail on it, but there are a couple of threads about it on the MegaSquirt Forums @ http://www.msefi.com/index.php This sounds soooo much like one of the threads though. Wish I had bookmarked it.

Hehe, cheap gift, but well worth it. A nude photo to put under your sunvisor.

Haha...Sorry, just got your myspace bulletin, followed the link and ended up here. Thought it was funny...lol

Have you checked the inside of the cap? Make sure it's clean and the contacts aren't worn down too far. Also look for any marking or debris in there. just to give you an idea of how sensetive a distributer can be, an old trick to mess with someone was to draw a line inside the cap with a pencil. The lead would scater the spark and make it run like ♥♥♥♥.
-
Are you sure it's missing? Missing implies no spark which would leave the plugs wet, but not black.
-
Plug is black? Sounds like the injector might be stuck open.
-
Oily? Wow, that's gotta be a really bad set of rings. Have you done a compression test?
-
Talk about pulling threads from the past...
Check fuel pressure, timing, plugs, filters, cap, rotor, wires, coil, etc...
I'll bet you'll find your problem in the fuel pressure, but a good reading of the plugs will tell us much more.
