Mistafosta, what type of rear end setup are you running?

4500rpm meaning that, it could go to 4500rpm if needed. The shop that built it for me told me it could go (stall) to that number. 10 lbs on the slicks.

Glide with 1.74 straight cut gear set, I leave on 3800rpm trans brake. (4500), 28X9 M/T slickes R200, 3.54 gear, 300ZXT CV axles stock stubs.

Then it was 843 to the back tires. We took the car to the Dyno a week ago and turned the boost up to 25lbs of boost and made 945HPto the back tires. We took it to the track last night and it went a 5.43 @135 Mph in the 1/8th it got a little loose on top end, I think there is still a tenth or two left on the table.

I hate to say this because, it might be the kiss of Death. My car is a 76 280Z, I am running the stock stubs with the 300zx turbo cv axles, and MM companion flanges. I have been running my car hard for 12 years at the track ( Drag strip) and killed my share of halfshafts but did go a 9.21 @ 153mph, I switched to cv axle and ended the problem. I have been a 8.67@158mph with a 1.37 60' with this setup. The only problem I had was when I went from a 28X9 M/T slick to a M/T 275/60 Drag Radial Pro. I leave at 3800rpm on the trans brake but with the Radials I snaped both cv axle shafts. I went back to the slicks and still no problems as of yet. This works for me ,so if it not broke don't fix it. Just my two cents. I do have travel limiters on the rearend to keep the axles from getting in a neg angle.

Went to the track on Friday after replacing MSD box that took care of high RPM miss. The Z went 5.66 @130 , 3 times back to back. With 19# of boost. Will be stepping up the boost on Nov 8th race. Video on youtube bowman10112014 testing.
