yeah its the ignitor for sure, I had like 4 of them laying around and every one was shot, one had a little life but not enough to make the coil spark enough for ignition.

So far I love the ideas that you guys have. Right now I am in the process of fitting in some 1990 Trans Am lights with LED bulbs using the stock wiring harness. I have a fair amount of work ahead of me but will post them when done.

Ok heres the backround, I have a 76 280z that i just swapped an 83 l28et into. I did all of the wiring with a stock turbo harness. The only issue is that the ignitor is bad, there fore I am not getting any spark. I can not afford a brand new ignitor and there are no junk yards around here for me to get one. So with that being said are there any good alternatives for using a different ignitor?

I found a newer product that is good for undercoating or doing the engine bay. Its lighter than rhino liner and it sprays on easy and it cleans up with soap and water if so needed. Its called lizard skin. Check it out. I'll be using it when I get around to puting my Z on a rotisserie. Thats my 2 cents for today. You can prob also tint it any color if so needed. Not sure on that yet though.

You should be able to sue him. The fact that he got tickets for a Vehicle that is not considered Road legal with those mods should bolster you claim. Can you say new Z31??

I need the fuel sending unit that goes in the fuel tank. As of right now my car does not tell me how much fuel i have.

Very nice looking... Love how that fits in the bay. One question though what are you doing with the car that you pulled to motor out of? If you are parting it out I sure could use one small part....

no they wont fit, i already checked. gollumn what i thought you ment was that the cobra rims came stock on the t-birds. lol my bad, Yeah i can change to mustang rims but every one does that.

uhhh yeah the cobra rims are on the mustangs not the t-birds. To get the cobra rims you have to do a 5 lug swap on them. The most common ones up to 87 were slotted mags and the 87-88's had the snowflakes like on mine. Now even the SVO did not have cobra styles on them. The reason you see t-birds using tghem is because they came out with a 4 lug rim and the aftermarket choices for us to use are pretty much non exsistant.

The 87-88's came with top mounted intercoolers. I want to swap to a FMIC to up the boost to around 20psi and then a copper head gasket and such for more hp.

Have you thought about getting some sponsors from body shops in the area? I see shops around here with sweet cars that were done to promote that shop. Just an idea to get the project rolling again.

Hey guys I need some help. I have a 88 thunderbird turbo coupe that i want to yank the engine out of and toss it into a 240-280z has any one done this yet so i can figure out how they did the engine mounts and what not? And yes I have tried using the search function.

so what oem fans will work on an l28? i bought a camero fan but it no fits. way to wide with the fan motor. -
you might be able to fit in some 335's sorta like the yz flares have.
