  1. I actually have the black plastics replicas of these mirrors. Havent installed them yet. Well see how long they last lol. Good thing they were cheap.
  2. It would probably serve you well to replace all of your bushings with the Energy Suspension master bushing kit. After 30-40 years the bushings on these cars are well worn

  6. Oh ok see I always say people call the maxima head the MN47 and the Z head the N47 so i was confused which one they were talking about. I agree that the calculators seem a bit off
  7. Ive got a good working one with about 45k miles on it if anybody is interested. The E31 is a rare cylinder head because it was only produced for 2 years and alot of them were bought up and used for racing back in the day because of the smaller combustion chambers. Nowadays you can just use an N42 or MN47 or something and get high compression.
  8. If you use the engine calculator it says a flat top block with an n42 head with 1mm head gasket yields a 9.97 compression ratio. Is that not right?

If you have ever looked at the mapping for both the single cam MAF and the SR MAF they are not the same but similar. The SR will not run perfectly using the single cam MAF
  12. How does your B&M fit? the person who installed mine had to notch the console so that it would fit. It just looks absolutely terrible.
  13. I would say unless you have a mint condition all original series 1 240z youre probably not gonna hurt yourself too bad. It looks badass. I would rather have a Z with flares and wide wheels than a stock one
  14. Has anybody used the stock Z shifter while using a th350 automatic transmission? I have a B&M shifter in the car right now and absolutely despise it. I tried to hook up the stock Z shifter but the cable keeps binding up. If anyone knows how to get this to work please fill me in. Thanks

  17. I was using the atlantic Z car engine calculator. i think i figured out that they are calling the late e88 260z head the "p50" for some reason since this head has a 47cc combustion chamber rather than the 42 cc of the early e88
  18. Im wanting to use an F54 Flat Top block with the E88 head off of my 74 260Z. Ive been looking around to try and found out what compression ratio I would be looking at. I know the thickness of the head gasket makes a difference. I have seem somewhere around 10.4 to 1 but is that with the early E88? Too much conflicting information out there as far as E88 head goes.
  19. Ive got an 83 runs great it has new plugs, 8mm taylor hi pro wires, rotor, cap, afm, o2 sensor, cold air intake, manual boost controller, autometer boost gauge, fuel lines, fuel filter, walbro 255 lph fuel pump, pov delete, all vacuum hoses, motor and auto trans have 129,000 miles

  22. I have the P90A head so without modification I cant use the cam. Let me know how converting your head to be able to use the cam works. I might want to do the same
