    The nut seems to be a floating type. Is it safe to do so or am I screwed?

    It was actually the left transmission tunnel ear. Seems like it is floating nut inside the transmission tunnel ear. How can I fix this?

    You need the stock fuel rail and the heat shield to hold the return springs for the throttle return.

    I found out why my idle was high. I had a vacuum leak on both my dual SUs. Apparently the guy I bought the carbs from didn't put the gaskets between the carbs and the intake manifold. Thanks for replying. Now onto tackling turn signal and combo switch problem. Lol

    71 240z Specs L28 N42 block/ N42 head Dual SUs MSA 6-1 header Electronic dizzy 78 280z 280zx 5 speed Lowest timing I can get is around 900 rpms. The manual says 600 rpms. I need to do this in order to fully tune my dual SUs. Do I need to set mechanical advance and vacuum advance before I can do anything else? Any help is appreciated.

    1971 240z with 280z motor. I just finished swapping my motor and tranny into the car. I think I accidently cross threaded the frame nut for the tranny crossmember. What could I possibly do to resolve this issue?

    Nice build. How much did Performance Options charge you for the RB install? I'm thinking of dropping a rb25det in my 71 240z. I was planning on massing all the parts together and havIng a shop do the install.
