    thanks for the advice, i have no clue what size voltage or settings, my welding class has it preset, i guess thats a bad thing. But the bar works, and no rattle =) im thinking to do a front one now.

    Well, this is my first project it took me a lazy two weeks, its adjustable with the nuts on one end, tell me what you think. The reason I made it a bolt on besides welding it is because my car is a DD. I just hope it doesn't break... lol I'll post more pics after I paint it.

    good stuff hd240z, well, news up date on the tranny. My mechanic found a rebuilt 280zx tranny which is great. And i should have the car this friday. woot!

    Vacaville is in between sac. and sanfran. in california. I dont know the symptoms. I just want to know what the best things are to put in my trans for a good durable daily driver, while the tranny is cracked open. Thanks guys. So you think i should dump this and get a zx tranny?? Or rebuild??

    I don't know trannys but that doesnt sound good. He also said that it leaks every where. I am 18, and I have money to fix it but, should i "they" fix it. Or should they rebuild it, if they do rebuild what should i put in it with the motor i got.... I need help. What do you guys think?

    first check if the seat itself can fit, mounts, and such, only if you have access to some.

    I dont know what POR is and i thought of using dynamat but my car leaks sometimes in the weirdest places and i figured that the dynamat would just get all nasty when wet.

    Right now i have the center console out and i am currently fixing and cleaning it. I plain on doing the dash also, if not to hard. The main reason is i want to put some good insulation to stop all this heat from hitting my legs and kill all the noise. I have heard some guys put down a rino liner type of stuff down in the entire interior. for a water proof type of insulation. WHat do you guys think about that???     Awsome, what about mounting. I think that would be pretty hard to, and setting up a switch. Some guy at my work (i work at Ace hardware) said to tap it into my fuse box. But i dont know what that means.... In the mean time ill show you a pic of my car.

    what is the most powerful engine that could hook directly to my 280z manuel tranny?? Would the 300zx motor fit???
