Hi, Im looking for someone to help me swap a l28et into my 78 N/A. Right now the l28et motor, but I need to send the block in to get prepped. I have a brand new t3/t4 turbo,60mm TB and a megasquirt. Im not really sure exactly what else I need to do to drop it in. So if you could send me a PM and maybe we could talk I would appreciate it.

do you know if that fuel rail fits the 440cc supra injectors?

I need to get the 440cc injectors (and supporting fuel rail), a interior console out of a 280z, an interior door panel, l28et pistons and an intercooler if you have it.

Looking for a running L28ET.. preferably under 175k miles. 280zx 5 speed too if you got it. Price will be negotiated.. Preferably semi-local pickup (Dallas, Texas)but if the price is right maybe we can work shipping out.

oh snap got this thread and post pics of your z thread confused. my bad, brah.

My first z . 1978 280z.. the rust you see is just from lack of paint and is surface rust.. it is slightly gouged into the body so ill probably bondo it and sand it then put fender flares over it. Gotta completely redo the interior.. only thing i wont actually replace will be the gauges, dash(gonna cap it) and glove box.. and maybe keep the left door panel. Engine actually runs strong but needs a new starter (no biggie).. Hopefully after I fix the interior ill move on to do a turbo swap.. Paid 1360 for this project.

Uh.. my z wont run if I turn off the battery... Bad alternator?

Little update, the rpms issue has seemed to resolve itself for now.. same with the screeching. I dont have a driver side mirror but the holes are there for it and I want to put in a MSA mirror but im pretty sure the holes are too big for the MSA one, what should I do?

Looking for good condition center console, both right and left side panels and the arm rests and handles if you got them, looking for right side kicker panel, and looking for a rearview mirror. looking for the driver sider mirror too..All black interior parts btw.

Forgive me but where can i find the throttle body and the connections you mentioned. Appreciate the help

So I just bought my first Z, the engine runs strong for the most part, but something I noticed is when at ~2000 RPMs and you let off the gas, it holds steady.. but if you are at 3k+ it will go down. Also when I first start the car the it idles at about ~900 but after driving it wont idle below 1500.. Not sure if thats a problem or how its supposed to be. Few other problems with it off the top of my head if you have any ideas: Right blinker lights solid if you brake. Wipers dont work, dont know where the motors is if you can point me in the right direction. I have a screeching sound in the engine after hitting a curb at about 25.. alternator belt maybe? thanks.
