  1. Not true. http://2009gtr.blogspot.com/2008/02/cobb-tuning-r35-gt-r-on-its-way-to-us.html http://2009gtr.blogspot.com/2008/02/mines-has-hacked-speed-limiter-on.html Mines in Japan and Cobb are both working on reflash software.
  2. Did the skylines come with a vacuum canister? Seems odd. They are usually reserved for cars that don't pull a lot of vacuum at idle i.e. cars with large cams. Brandon
  3. "Also have a 1975 Fairlady Z front half with all vin plates, clean title, and 4 brand new metal Fairlady Badges in Nissan boxes. Make offer." If he's selling a whole car for $1250 I'm sure you could pick the front cut up for a few hundred. Brandon
  4. Good point Bob, I completely forgot that i opened that area up. You definitely don't want anything restricting the flow of your wastegates. Brandon
  5. It was posted somewhere on here a while back. It's a translation of some japanese quote. I thought it was funny.
  6. +1 for the no flavor no name brand foods!
  7. It should have a check valve in the line to keep it from pressurizing.
  8. He is Racer98 on here. Check the group buy forum.
  9. E85 does require an alcohol tolerant fuel system so no rubber o rings. I don't think it is more corrosive than straight methanol though. Check this page out for a bunch of info on alcohol fuels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_fuel
  10. I hope to be there with my RB26 Z. Shooting for some mid to high 11's. Brandon
  11. For some prices around the country you can go here. http://e85prices.com/ That is true Panzer. Your fuel mileage will suffer because ethanol's stoichiometric ratio is closer to 9:1 if I remember correctly. Not a big worry for me as far as the Z goes. Brandon
  12. I have the SS autotrash O2 housings on mine. I believe they are a copy of the HKS ones. I reinforced the welds and haven't had a problem with them yet. I made my downpipe out of 3 inch tubing. The two tubes meet at about the bellhousing and goes to single 3 inch from there. Brandon
  13. E85 has it's advantages, not only is it higher octane than regular gasoline but it is cheaper. Sounds like a winning combination to me. If we had E85 pumps here in Maryland I would definitely be running my car on it.
  14. Any chance you can post a dyno plot? I'd love to see when that turbo comes to life. Thanks Brandon
  15. It was a custom built one. If you go here http://rbz32.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=242 and scroll down you'll see it. It was for a RBZ32 swap.
  16. I'm sure it will flow enough air to keep your turbo happy. My only warning is to beware of buying from wholesale places. They will usually have the best price but really crappy customer service. If you ever have a problem with the product getting some kind of support could be tough. Brandon
  17. I would go with the GT35R, close to 500hp on pump gas in our light little Z's is a pretty wild ride. A shop not too far from me did a GT35R on a rb26 and they were getting full boost by ~4000 rpm. Quick spool plus over 450hp is going to be nuts! No sense in having anything super laggy, just ask Booztd3.
  18. ShitBox because that's pretty much what mine is.
  19. I got the spare cylinder head today and the material is on the way. I hope to have something in a week or two. Any one know who still sells a brand new manifold for the RB other than Full-Race and SSAutotrash?
  20. Congrats Stony! I'm glad to see the O.G. RB swap car is back up and running. Your car has definitely been an inspiration to me and I'm sure many others. I guess good things really do come to those who wait although at sometimes it seems hopeless. Brandon
  21. It also has the star shaped oil cap indicative of an R32.
