  1. Since you didn't state how you intend to drive this 350 with more horsepower thats not easy to answer. If you plan to launch and shift it hard ...chances are good you will break at some point... it is just a matter of when. If you drive it smooth and easy on the petals perhaps... never. IMO there is no sense in adding extra HP if you can't have some fun with it and to me that means "gettin' on it" once in a while. So why spoil some of the fun with a r180 diff.? Get a r200 diff. and upgrade the half-shafts and not have to worry about breaking things. Jack
  2. Lookin' Good ! I just love the way those cars look. Must be a fair weather only driver.... no wipers
  3. The effort and craftsmanship is right up there! IMO though... I would lose the front spoiler. It's shape competes with the bumper. Something with smoother more complimenting lines. Again my opinion... I would paint the bumpers the same as the body. Blending them in versus drawing attention to with another color. Below is a front spoiler from MSA that is close to what I am talking about. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7AD2/50-1412
  4. Looks and sounds great. GOOD JOB! Did you notice you had only one back up light?
  5. Not ready for prime time yet. 10 more LED lights per section will be added before installation

  7. Coming from church services... you didn't ask yourself WWJD?
  8. Just an important side note... if you are doing this in your home garage make sure your wiring and breaker are capable of handling the AMPS the welder will be pulling.
  9. I really think the idea has a great deal of merit. It does have however the risks Bartman has listed. If this thread garners support for the endeavor...then perhaps a logical next step would be to look at forming a committee of sorts to address and deal with the issues involved in getting the project underway. That's my 2 cents.
  10. Further proof that the Arab World and the Western World are definitely on different wave lengths. Just a bit much on the side.
  11. Try the search feature on the forum....there is no less than 18 threads that contain something about Eibach Progressive Rate Springs.
  12. Here is an interesting product. It comes in a clear and can be used over a color or on the aluminum. Depending on mixing and how it is applied you can give it different feels. They say it is not for private use etc... but I bought a quart of it for less than $100.00 with shipping. Check out some of the other paint products and films they make. Some pretty neat stuff. http://alsacorp.com/products/softtouch/softtouch.htm
  13. How many miles on it. Did everything work prior to the wreck? Like the Air Conditioning, Transmission etc... How was the car running?
  14. How about more pictures? Pictures of the damage etc. . It's hard to tell what something is worth if you can't see how much damage needs to be repaired.
  15. A local shop near Houston. They can do any color made out of vinyl, cloth or leather that you want..... but South Carolina may be a bit far to travel....
  16. A preview of the interior that will add to the uniqueness of my Z...
  17. Several things are unique....visually is the side marker light treatment and the ghosted in blue pearl hood treatment. Internally is the way the subframe has been re-inforced and tied together.
  18. Dude...buy the JTR Conversion Manual. Here is the site: http://www.jagsthatrun.com/index.html Develop your questions after reading it.....ALL of what your asking is in the manual. I will leave you with this quote from the author of the Conversion Manual. "The internet has a lot of information. Some of it good, and some of it not so good. When it comes to engine swaps, there is a lot of mis-information. Be aware that not every "expert" on the internet is really an expert". Buy the Manual. Jack
