  1. Best wishes to all for a Great "08". Like savageskaterkid I want to just get the bugs worked out of mine .....SO THAT I CAN DRIVE IT FARTHER THAN MY DRIVEWAY!!
  2. I have had excellent results with the the Dyna-Batt. It sat for six months before being installed and has been in the car for over a year now and has sat for four months at a time without cranking. It starts with power and at times has been called on to do some repeated cranking. I just last month set it up on the battery minder. I especially found the small size an asset in helping to de-clutter the engine compartment. Website for Dyna-Batt..http://www.performancedistributors.com/batteries.htm My set:
  3. Your Z looks great..... like the fact it is "old school" with the stroker and triple Mikuni's. I especially want to say " Thank You " for your service to our country.
  4. Can't see the pics... Forbidden You don't have permission to access /servlet/Images/photos4290/2/12/90/27/54/5/554279012209_0_BG.jpg on this server.

  6. Thanks. The brace comes from a company who's name escapes me at the moment. I also have their three way brace installed on the rear struts. Fitting it around the air filter did require bending the front crossing brace slightly. They make these to fit the L series engine. Obviously.... air filters aren't an issue. Just remembered were I got the strut bars.... Top End Performance. http://www.racetep.com/nissan.html
  7. Great job...and great find. 3200 miles that is almost unheard of. So what are the plans from this point?
  8. dat240zg, I like the color combination...and the quality going into the build appears to be first class. Here are a few pics of mine during the build. It appears we had similar ideas about the colors.
  9. You bet.... an expensive learning experience. My Z learning experience cost way more than my college learning experience.
  10. Anything that is shiny and sparkles or traveling is involved works for my wife. I am pretty sure she would go for the balloon ride. The big question would be me handling it. I can't handle a ferris wheel. Looks like you both enjoyed it....Happy Anniversary
  11. Looks like you have your work cut for you. Good Luck. Update the progress with pics from time to tme.
  12. Find a good automotive upholstery guy. I'd recommend my guy but he is here in the Houston area and he has so much work...if you are not there to push his _ _ _ you may not see your dash for a while.
  13. I installed a Tremec 3550 with a Pro 5.0 shifter behind a 350 SBC and really like the way it works. I have a fresh rebuilt WCT5 that I was going to use when I had an opportunity to buy the Tremec. For those interested I would like to sell the WCT5.
  14. I would like to know how many people he asked in order to find these ill informed (I'll be nice here) "people"..
