I would get filters that match the lens I'm using. The closer you keep it to your glass the harder it is to pick up dust, scratches, ect. and it'll keep down the vignetting.
B+W make great filters but they are $$$. Hoya are a close second place and are a lot cheaper.
The filters used above were cheap crappy eBay filters that I would only recommend if you don't have the resources for better ones.
But... they were a gift from the parents who didn't really know the difference between good and bad filters so I cant really complain.
