Right now I'm looking for turbos, something along the lines of a garrett m24, or a t04b. I don't need anything powerful right now, but something that'll make more power than stock turbo. The keyword here is cost. Guess I'm doing the rotary after all.... definite answer will be given after the motor mounts are made and the engine is sitting in the Z secured. I think we got most of the things figured out.

correct. only z31 cars to have lsd were 88 special edition non-turbo that was viscous (not mechanical) limited slip, and 87.5-89 turbo
