any updates on progress?

yea mine did that too. i thought it was attached to the throttle somehow because any slight movment of the gas peddle would send it up or down. i tried going by it and adjusting my foot to get it near 30mpg and got 28. i was pretty suprised to get 28mpg from a bimmer with 300,000 miles.

im a little confused. its a problem only on the zx or all zs? I have a 75 280. would it be a problem then?

yea i thought so too. I put in my highest at 112. And at that i thought i was paying to much. Guess someone wanted it really bad.

I was reading a book about turbocharging called maximum boost by corky bell and under the wastegate section i saw a similar peice so i think they are sold somewhere. i havent been able to find one thou. anyone know where someone might sell em?

funny. damn i wish i had someone to show me stuff on engines when i was younger. Still could actually haha. but im 18 and ive learned that if you want to learn something you have to teach yourself....

its ok. u can still make out great. heres how. get the engines for free and throw them on ebay. With all the money u get, u can put it all in the z. there u go. i know. im a genius u can thank me later.

haha. im planning on getting that intake soon (soon being next year haha). there is a guy on classiczcars that has that intake i beleive. his name is Bubbleguinea. look him up. he might be able to help u.
