I got a freand that has an audi s4. daddy paid for it. anywho, i raced him in my 280z (which isnt running right) and i was dead even with him. at the time it was original, (just to show u that he cant drive). the other day he said he saw a blue little go cart (he calls zs go carts) and he raced him. said that the z had flames coming out of the exhaust and that he killed the z by two or three car lengths. Just curious to know if anyone who has a blue z raced an s4. i got a feeling hes talk out of his :icon15:

i beleive there are two "j" like screws that hold the strap to the body. they should be on the side of the tank toward the front of the car. to drain the tank theres just that screw at the bottom of the tank.

keep us updated. i had the same question. only thing mine has is headers and an intake. One of my buddies said that if i switch im almost guarantee better gas milage being that he was saying the FI systems back then had flaws and were pretty primative to todays FI. im going to go turbo eventually so im going to go megasquirt but i was gona convert to megasquirt before turbo. let us know what u end up doin.

haha im with mike. if ebay counts then thats one for me. Other than that the usual stupid stuff we teenagers like to do. bonfires, getting hammered, chasing girls (getting hammered and then chasing girls haha), kickbacks, parties, clubs, racing (especially if it envolves me in my z vs this thing that resembles what once was a honda and has more exhaust decibels than the engine has in horsepower). Also i enjoy going to car shows no matter what cars are there. but over all this stuff i enjoy working on my z (even thou most of the time i have no clue what im doin:ugg:)

yea they are crazy. especially for u i bet cause u got to drive from san diego to irvine every weekend. remember my gas guage when we went to MSA? litarally watched that thing go down. something like 12mpg haha. Dirk messed with the timing again and it seems better now. i dont know an exact # in mpg but i know im not filling up every two days anymore haha.

75 280z daily driver and project car wanting to start body work soon. right now im driving it around in white primer Installed Msa rear sway bar yesterday bought (4) 5 way adjustable shocks but managed to destroy one of them so im in the process of looking for one so i can install all the shock at the same time want to change all the bushings under the car so. maybe in 4-5 months hopfully sooner want to start welding and shaving panels before paint installed headers and it gives it a nice sound looking into 3"exhaust but it aint gona happen soon in the long run (5-7 years) if the car is still with me and in one peice id like to drop an LS1 in there. hopefully im not as clumsy then and have more experiance when i was messing with body work on it when i got it 72 240z project/money pit pictures will explain what the hell im doing... before sand blasting when i bought it in the middle of some work still got a long way to go and i dont know if im going to ditch the project or run with it. idk. well see

im pissed. i bought tokico 5 way adjustable shocks from another z owner who gave me a good deal. well one of the shock was stuck in the front asembely. so he gave me the whole damn thing. thought why mess with it ill just take the whole damn thing and bolt it up. well the threads were messed up on the assembly where the shock sits. so i thought, how hard could this be? ill just take this shock out. assembly will take a beating with the hammer but who cares. well i beat the **** out of the assembly. shock didnt even budge. i had another (not so brilliant idea). i'll take a grinder to the side of this thing just enough to get the shock out. well i ended up going to far and **** came out of the shock went all over. there goes that shock. so....anyone got a spare tokico 5 way adjustable shock??? :lol: its been a long day.....

a freand also told me that my car would be a ----- to weld because the metal on japenese cars is crappier that metal on other cars. he said that the USA and Europe would ship theyre used metals and that japan would recycle them into our cars. is that true??? not trying to hijack the thread or anything but it has something to do with welding on out cars.
