  1. Slownrusty what kind of wheels are those? They are nice.
  2. How does it look too low? too high? One side is 1/4 higher than the other. Thanks for Austin for sending me a kit .
  3. Sleeping police men haha. I finally mounted the front. I think I did an ok job. Took me awhile to decide how high, but I think It should be fine. I taken a look and notice that one side was alittle higher than the other. Kinda dissapointed me since I had a practice front before I actually did it. Its like a 1/4 inch difference, but I can see it!. Heres the picture. Hopefully when I mount the rear, Ill be ok. By the way Phil I think you should be ok. I think you could still tuck those wheels under with the flare mounted like that if you cut. Stony thats a sweet looking Z!
  4. I was thinking the same thing . I think in one of the post on Austin's thread on how to mount ZG Flares, John C from Beta Motorsports showed his picture of how he mounted his flares and its pretty detailed. Here it is! He went alittle bit above the door handle. Hes also running wider wheels and tires though
  5. I post a picture of the back tomorrow. Hopefully I dont mess up.
  6. Datsun Spirit has slide on coil overs that require no welding, but they look exactly like those cosmo coilovers. Check with www.datsunspirit.com
  7. Oh haha. I didnt know you can host on hybridz. Remember I am still new . Theres the link. Does that help? http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=14397&cat=500&ppuser=15303
  8. Flares look great on your car. I hope my install will turn out ok. Thats how I was going how to mount the Zg flares Higher than the door handles cause I felt it was too low when I did fit under the line. I guess I was right. I am starting to mount the Zg flares tmr. I did a practice test on one of my spare front fenders. Let me know if that is incorrect.
  9. Sometimes I think about it and IT does look really good without the flares. I do like flares to and am going to run wide tires. Hard decisions, but I decided to do flares. Next Z I will run stock fender.
  10. The rear end doesnt look to nice. Like the rear end on the current one.
  11. Thanks for replying Toecutter. I have an idea now. So the fatter part of the flare is suppose to face forward not back. Dam that motorsport guy really confused me. Telling me to put the thin flares in front. Ill post pictures so you can take a look and tell me if it looks right.
  12. I know theres a thread on this already so I apologize for making another thread. Once answered I will delete it. I posted it in the How to mount Zg flares thread, but not a quick enough response. Hopefully someone can answer this ASAP. In the process of installing Zg flares. Today I tested the flares on today to see if they were in good shape so I can start measuring and cutting. I came across two flares that fitted really good and two flares that just left huge gaps everywhere when we tried to hold it in a mounting position. The body is pretty straight so I know for a fact it wasn't the body. My friend the body man told me to take them back for an exchanged. So we had a good passenger front flare and driver's rear. Returning the drivers front and passengers rear. I purchase this from MSA about 2 months ago. Took it in to them and they had no problem with exchanging the two. Then the guy told me that I might have mounted wrong. He said " The two wider flares are suppose to be in the front and the thin in the rear". Now I need some serious opinions on what should be the proper way to do this. I never thought that it would be Wider in the front and thinner in the back? Is he wrong? Heres a picture of the flares. I need to test fit the two I exchanged to see how they fit. I would greatly appreciated if someone can reply to this as soon as possible. We are trying to get this part of the process done by friday or even less if possible. What I assume is the front flares Thin ones. Blue marks perfect fit. Unmark means Exchanged What I assume is the rear flares wider one. Blue marks perfect fit. Unmark means exchanged -Thanh

  19. Hmm scary. I was restoring my dash with filler and fiberglass. Its turning out pretty good. Everything is even and its hard as a rock. Just need to prep it for paint thats about it. Maybe one more coat of primer
  20. I agree. Money can't beat rarity. I remember when I was 17 at the La car show and there enzo was behind a pole. I touch the car and everyone looked at me like O_O? I was like YES I TOUCH A FERRARI ENZO! Everything started to laugh as the security guards started to chase me down. Besides people are crashing enzo's left and right. Expect it to double since its getting more rare by the day.
