  1. I don't smoke lol. Post some pictures of it. Before I bought my Z I looked into buying a VR-4 as it's quite a cool car, but it was just too rare.
  2. With a 4.63 diff or something like that I'm guessing it wouldn't be too bad. But yeah, the Z is quite a bit heavier than the other cars even if you do lose some 250lbs (guestimate) with the swap. But you could always just supercharge or turbocharge the motor, especially because someone with the money to do the swap would probably also have enough money to make it more powerful.
  3. There's also the RST-V8 http://www.rst-v8.co.uk/ It's basically the same as the above, it revs to 10,200 rpm, produces around 360hp and 190 lbs/ft of torque and weighs about 163 pounds. These types of engines are really cool and sound great but they're really expensive, I believe they're around $30,000.
  4. Finally took the radiator and John at Betamotorsports made and welded the tabs on: Drilled some holes and installed it: It sticks out a little bit lower than before:

  9. Just wanted to thank you guys for all your hard work.
  10. I really haven't done all that much even though it's been a couple of months, mostly because I've been busy (mostly browsing hybridz lol). But yeah, I installed the sound deadening in the front: Put a dash cap on: Installed a Grant steering wheel, saw it recommended in a thread and recommend it myself: Painted the wheels black: Took off the stuff I didn't need on the balance tube: I started to do some spirited driving and I have to say the car is a blast even though it's stock. Then the fan hit the radiator, it didn't do much damage so I just cut off a very small piece of the fan so it wouldn't hit again. I went out and the fan hit again, it turns out the bottom of the radiator wasn't bolted in and this time it didn't look so pretty: So I decided I might as well buy an aluminum radiator and I got a PRC double pass from Randy's Racemart, I'm taking it Friday to Betamotorsports to have some tabs welded in: And I also got a PermaCool Electric Fan:

  23. You can use those coils even if you don't have the Xr700 ignition, I have the Ps20 coil and I'm running a stock 240z points distributor. You would need the Xr700 ignition or any other electronic ignition if you wanted to use the PS60 or PS91 coils.
  24. According to the Haynes manual it's 16 gallons.
