  1. That looks beautiful BRAAP, and it does look great in b&w (I've always loved how cylinder heads look like art work, I actually have a spare MN47 in my room just so I can stare at it, at least until it's ready for use). (I especially like the first one, any chance I might get a higher res pic to use as my wallpaper?)
  2. It doesn't seem fake, I don't know about the sound (as it sounds quite good) but everything looks as it does on the diesel engine, there are also no injectors or throttle body to indicate that it's a gas engine.
  3. Ignoring the boiling point, water cools more effectively than antifreeze, so a 20/80 glycol/H20 mix will cool better than a 40/60 mix and so forth, I'm guessing that's why he's running that mix.
  4. Damn Phil, no driving, no Z, and it's still a good video .
  5. I installed the same fan and as a pusher as well, once I had it running I noticed that a lot of the air was escaping through the space between the radiator and the radiator core support. If the same thing is happening with yours then sealing off that area would direct more air through the radiator instead of over or under it, cooling it more effectively.
  6. It's number one in the diagram (the screw isn't exactly the same shape but it's in the same location).
  7. After playing the game I'm even more amazed at the video, that took quite a lot of time to make.
  8. Have you guys seen Yngwie Malmsteen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cm-w62o9o8 (editing is pretty horrible but the skills wow ) And even though this isn't an electric guitar it's still pretty cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9mEKMz2Pvo
  9. It seems to be the 16 inch one and according to summit racing it pulls 2175cfm (it's also cheaper at summit): http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=DER%2D16516&N=700+300458+115&autoview=sku But the amp draw does seem a little excessive at 18.4 amps. Currently I'm running a 14 inch perma cool fan as a pusher (and as my only fan) and it seems to be doing its job quite well, it's 2950cfm and it only draws 9.5 amps: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=PRM%2D19114&N=700+115&autoview=sku As for the mounting kit, it's actually pretty simple to make your own, I just used some aluminum bars my dad had laying around and it's quite sturdy, wouldn't know about the warranty though.

  16. That sounds great, can't wait to see a video of it once you get it fully tuned and I really like how clean the install looks.
  17. About two days ago, after I installed the radiator and the electric fan, I ran the engine for the first time since it had overheated, there were some problems and I initially thought my car had blown a headgasket. Well it turned out to be a false alarm and after running it today I decided to record a small clip of it revving. I'll probably make a longer video tomorrow. But yeah, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxECvX3D-XE
  18. Wow that looks great, can't wait to see it and hopefully hear it at the meet.
