  1. BRAAP Thank You Very Much that's just what I needed thanks again, Staledale
  2. HI, I have a 250 GTO rebody that I will put my Jag v12 with weber carbs in. I'd like to use an overdrive tranny 5 or 6 speed with my 3:31 jag irs rear end. I need an adaptor for bolting the chevy bellhousing to the jag block. I'd even go for the dimensions for a Ford bellhousing. thanks
  3. Does anyone have the dimensions for the Chevy bolt pattern so I can build an adaptor? The other side will be Jaguar, I can't seem to find the Chevy, hate to see what it will take to get the Jaguar dimensions. Least I've got one of those out in the garage. thanks Staledale
  4. While Chelle, that is way cool. You have to have the most published car around. You gotta be proud. It mentions about the velocity stacks, are you looking into that guy from Carlisle's weber look alikes? Did he have a web site? Again, nice job, great car. Staledale
  5. Here's a good link to the real thing. there are many pages to look at and you'll see that there wasn't any two built the same. I also included a picture of the taillights. http://www.web-cars.com/gto/ferrari_index.php http://www.web-cars.com/gto/up_close_f-gto-3729.php http://www.web-cars.com/gto/photo.php?photo=135-20A_a.jpg Staledale
  6. Zerrrari GTO It's 5/8 of an inch across the flat bottom, and 1/2 of an inch high. Staledale
  7. ZerrariGTO here is a picture of that stuff, I tried to glue it to my old V/R trunk. You can see it goes on real nice no kinks or twists, and it is just right for the height of the trunk lid. The top of the lid is level with the rest of the panel. I cut a peice for you to see the profile. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=15678&cat=500 The stuff you showed is for inside of the door jamb where the inner and outter metal meet. It is a harder plastic for edges.
  8. Here is a D shaped gasket I used on the Cobra, If I can find a little bit of it, I'll try it around the Velo Rossa trunk lid. Staledale http://www.finishlineaccessories.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=60&products_id=62
  9. Looks like a 1958 412S. Google that. Staledale

  11. Here's some pictures of the lights. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=15566&cat=500&ppuser=8070 http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=15565&cat=500&ppuser=8070 The lens on the front have little wings on them and the whole lens screw in place for bulb replacement. On the back two screws hold each lens in place. These are plastic lens, years ago Speedracer had a site with glass lens that were 2 or 3 hundred dollars per lens.... Staledale

  14. Yes Michellel that was the vendor, Found a bunch more that all use the same diagrams so they must use the same warehouse. NO luck there. ZerrariGTO, yes I have pictures, but they are on a Cobra, Still want them? Staledale
  15. Hi, Here's where I got my Cobra lights, I will use them again for GTO. They look good and check out the prices..... http://www.finishlineaccessories.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=3&osCsid=a3619d4e35dedac591fb5947d83b895c I had L692 in the rear and L539 for the front. They have the gas filler at a good price also. Though I found a suppler for the Honda latch, but after three weeks they came back and said they can't get them any more...Damn Staledale

  18. HI, just got back from Carlisle and I meet Chelle and her friend Haley. They have their 250 GTO on "Invitational display" and it's worth the trip. So If you are close to Carlisle go there and check out that car. Michelle and Haley are good people and very knowledgeable about cars. I was always impressed with her posts and pictures, but seeing the car in person was great. Sorry I didn't ask how long they were gonna stay there but if you can go early Sunday morning you might catch her. Staledale
  19. HI, With some welding skills it shouldn't be that hard, least I hope not, I've got one. The axles and lower control arm have to be shorten because that rear is way to wide. I don't have my measurements near by but I'll post them if I find them. I found chrome axles and control arms the right size on ebay for $200 and grabbed them up. Good luck.
  20. My 5.0 Ford in my old cabin cruiser had reverse rotation. Little things like the points were different, water cooled exhaust, alternator had a spark arrestor screen on it, the basic block was the same with a reverse grind cam. Different lower units might make a difference in rotation. Staledale
  21. Winning bid on the G-Nose $660.00, He has them for sell for $650.00 on his web site. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/G-Nose-240Z-260Z-280Z-NEW-Urethane-one-piece_W0QQitemZ280032016234QQihZ018QQcategoryZ36475QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Staledale
  22. It's cool alright, but so is yours Chelle. I got Webers for mine but can't put them in a line like the Ferrari. Jag v12 has a distributor smack dab in the middle of the engine. How long is your stretch? I've eye'd up that project for mine but have had to many setbacks to work on it. Staledale
  23. Yes he is up and starting a new business, we need a good Z parts man. He's trying each piece one at a time on his own Z's. So he only has a few different pieces made. He's got the 250 gto molds but they will be a while till they get made. He has to get the ones that he can produce and make some start up money with on the market first. His name is Tom and he is a member here. I wish him good luck because that could be good for us. Staledale
