  1. haha, you said upright nipples........
  2. damn, i thought i was gonna see a thread showing pics of girls with thier nipples showing...
  3. hey guys, im about to drop my intercooler piping at the welding shop, just wondering where the best place to put an IAT sensor is. i got the 3/4" aluminum bung for the GM IAT sensor, im wondering is it best to put it on the hot pipe before the intercooler, or the cold pipe after the intercooler, and if i put it on the cold pipe (which is short) would it affect airflow to the throttle body(as in causing turbulence before the throttle blade), or be affected any bit by the Blow off valve which isn't that far away? i don't have a MAF sensor, i have a air filter mounted right on the turbo so there isn't any room to put the IAT sensor between the air filter and turbo......so pretty much where is the best place to put it?
  4. recent pic with intercooler piping, more details to come after this weekend, so far i finished fabbing the front brake lines, oil feed line, oil return line in to the pan, and right now im working on the custom throttle cable and coolant lines. after that i gotta get a bung welded for the MS IAT sensor, and finish wiring up the megasquirt, better pictures coming this weekend, peace for now......

  7. thats crazy, i've never seen a motorhome burnout......... camo...... huge shop with an ******* boss....or small shop with a cool boss
  8. i don't have a v8 swap but my mount caused me to extend my steering shaft. i took the shaft off a 280zx with power steering and modded it by using the ujoint and shaft and held it in place with a heim joint from the local 4 wheel parts store, i got a pic or 2 in my album, check it out........
  9. hey, is it me or does that blue car under the orange starlet look like it has a f20c out of an s2k under the hood
  10. is there a way to get a turbo timer to work with megasquirt? i was wondering cause i want my car to have one, but all the turbo timers i have seen come with harnesses that plug in to other cars, im certain i won't have any place to plug in a turbo timer since all the wiring and ECU is custom. anyone have any ideas?
  11. yeah, i'd say valve stem seals also, if the seals on the turbo we're going bad, you'd probably see blue smoke.....
  12. talking bout the mazda chain tensioner mod. i really wanted to do it when i was assembling the engine, i had the timing cover off and the chain off too, but we'll see how it is when i start it up. funny thing is when i tried to use the mazda part number on the FJ20.com website, the guys at the mazda parts looked at me dumbfounded, AU and Japan #'s are different, so i had to crossreference the car. thanks for the tip though yasin!
  13. yasin, the turbo is a turbonetics t3/t4 hybrid in stage II trim, the manifold is an old school HKS top mount manifold....believe me i will be calling for your help some time in the future veritech....the filter is just there to keep stuff out the TB till i can fab up intercooler piping....yes, the turbo sticks out the vent on the hood so something will have to happen with the hood to make everything fit cleanly....as for as oil supply/return....i might make a tee off the oil pressure sensor(which is on the intake side) or drill the block for a feed, and weld a bung to the oil pan for the return.....i should have the intercooler piping up this weekend, and finish off the brakes and wiring
  14. allright guys a little more progress, been a busy week with school starting and i got rearended in my nissan truck a week ago....but some things are done... fixed the steering shaft clearance problem with an extra u joint and a heim joint as a brace, steers beautifullly now, trans was stuck in 1st gear, fixed that, fixed the broken trans mount, driveshaft is on and the driveline is complete clocked the turbo, mounted the radiator, connected some of the wiring for lights, etc.... only things left to do now is bend 2 brake lines, a clutch line, bleed those two, fab up intercooler piping and an exhaust, wire up the megasquirt, change all the fluids, and it should be running by the end of the month "fingers crossed" heres a few teaser pics....
