1 tuff z

i will be putting my engine back together soon and am debating on whether to use the turbo bolts or an arp stud kit when i pop the head back on. any experience or thoughts on either? i am running a jcr blower kit on my z, stock compression turbo block w/p-90 head. running 6-8lbs boost. thanks, david [1 tuff z]

go to a car audio install place and ask to purchase or have installed a [comperable] inline fuse [grab the specs from your manual]. this would accomplish your desired task of protecting your circuit and fuse block. david

i went to auto-x the z sunday. after helping set up the course, fired up the z accompanied by white smoke-yup-had that sweet smell to it so i knew the head gasket was giving up. i parked it [and eventually limped it home] and was offered a drive in another car [so i wasn't totally bummin']. anyway, i am running an L28 turbo long block with a jcr supercharger setup. i'm looking for suggestions for my new head gasket. i would like to keep the stock compression. thoughts, ideas and/or suggestions are appreciated. thanks-david

quick question, i have a nismo lsd in an r-200 diff-3.90 gears. it has approx. 4000 miles on it. anyone have an idea of market value? thanks-david

does anyone know where the relay/timer [which controls the fadeout-dimming of the dome/underdash lights] is located in the 81-83 280zx's?

concerning smoothline. i purchased; hood, front fenders and headlight buckets from jack fussenegger [owner] and had them shipped to my friends body shop. when they first opened the hood box, they thought it was steel. all the parts came truck'd and all without damage. i had my body man thoroughly examine all the pieces and he said "these are by far the best fiberglass pieces i have seen, in my 20+ years of paint/restoration/bodywork. anyway, jack's number is 724-274-6002 and/or www.smoothline.com. david
