  5. nothing really i still get lost tryin to figure out this town...waterfalls are pretty huge around here...pretty scary standing on a wobbley bridge 30 stories high...and if that fails theres always go-kartin ....i wonder how the cars sound from the inside?
  6. u think thats bad...just imagine living around a bunch of rich cornell students with their FX35s...lol...the 350z do get loud i havent heard a murano loud but then again eveyone i see driving them are older...
  7. rust issues pics arent that clear but...first pic is passenger side floor doesnt seem to be rusted through but ima take care of it all b4 anything major... i was planning on getting new floors anyways:? ... 2nd is near passenger side wheelwell...
  8. allow me to reintroduce myself....im junior(flames_187) i drove about 12hrs outta 24 to get this car...all the pannels are there just not reinstalled...didnt have time studing for the GMATs while working and reading on HBZ takes up alot of time....the car looked to me as a good starting postion with a couple of rust spots on the floor (post pics later). plans for the car are 1. get in on the road running decently (tuneup). 2. find and ATTACK! all rust on the car. 3. firm up chasis 4. suspension, rims and brakes. Im not to worried about doing any swaping just yet...i wanna get some track time with the l26 first.. P.S. aye evilC remember that datsun that was at alfred state and we was wondering where it went...well while praticing my golf swing8-) at the local park in ithaca i see a red 240z rolling up...obv i go talk to the guy and his friend...turns out that he brought it from them and restore the car in a year! l28 motor, gc fully adj coilover, motorsport brakes, paint job..he still got some interior and drivetrain work left but he did ALOT OF WORK in a year...
  9. 5 aye.. i wonder how parking is in heaven then...lol 1.Stingray in white...wanted one since i was a kid and had it hangin on my livingroom wall. 2. DMC Delorean...just in case i feel like going back to the future:burnout: 3. a dune buggy with a sr20 becuz i always thought heaven will be sandy... 4. Ford deluxe for sunday church...cant skip it now...lol 5. a honda civic hybird becuz if gas is $3.00 here its gotta be somecrazy price in heaven...

The crack on the block is easy to repair wit a TIG if its not all the way through...remember the case study with the propeler blade that had a crack...solution was to drill out the crack and add material. The bolt..mmm...is a lil harder...my opinion (not knowing the amount of stress occurring at that hole) would be to: 1. Heat up the hole to realign 2. TIG weld the crack 3. Reheat the crack area (for added strength) 4. Resurface the inside of the hole and resleeve with a threaded insert. how much this would cost..i dunno...just the idea me and the engineers came up with at work... Any machinist in wanna partake in this discussion?
