After changing a fuel pump and master cylinder 1tuffz (aka obi one) and a I got my car running a week ago...so this weekend i decided to drive it down from his house to my school (1hr 1/2 drive) ....With no air fliters, no turn signals, 1 and 1/2 brake lights , tape on the headliner to keep it up and only a speedometer to work with i got my 260z to my school safely...lol...the great part about this is I DIDNT REALLY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE STICK!...so i had to learn fast...ofcourse this included stalling about 10 times and having angry drivers behind me honking their lives away...I finally got the hang of it after a day of telling myself to "USE THE FORCE" I gotta say driving a Z is fun...handles well for a 32 year old car, u get looks from all the old timers and newbies trying to figure out where this noise is coming from...oh and the ladies luv it:icon47: ...its sad that i only got a 10 day inspection pass so i gotta leave it indoors till i get it 100% road worthy...but when it comes back out in the springtime there will be boost! pics to come!

as u prolly have read the l28t motors are cheap...im planning on doing my this winter (november-march for all the people on the west coast that dont get snow :-/ ) oh and welcome aboard!

I will like to add my 2 cents since i go to school wit evilc... we came to college not to start at the ground up but to have a postion in the ladder that will lead us to do what we want...with that being said i propose this idea to u. apply for the MBA program and apply for an intership/CooP in an automotive job...(honda,nissan ect.) I've been tryin for 2 years to get into honda or nissans CooP program and will keep applying untill they get annoyed by me...afta workin this summer for the engineering plant in ithaca i learned one thing - I COULD HAVE DONE ENGINEERING W/O AN COLLEGE EDUCATION! and u know it too...We pretty spend 4 years busting our buts for a paper...with the experince u get from the interships would be more towards what u want to do in life..."yes wyotech will teach you how to build an engine..but will it teach you how to make one"?

+1 for cheap turbo cars got my for $250 seems to need a clutch which i was gonna replace anyway hey cygnusx1 looks like your gonna have a lil competition come summertime

from what i been reading it depends on your setup...if all stock with a boost controller of some sort i couldnt imagine seeing anymore than 10psi w/o knock...now if u have some additions (intercooler,custom dp, ect) i could see a reliable 12-15psi...but guys on this forum can prove me wrong with the numbers they make...
